The Daily Chizzuk by our Rebbe Rav Eliezer Berland shlit”a — All the nations rejoiced and danced, helped the Nazis kill the Jews
Wednesday 23 Tammuz 5783 — “You drink alcohol, do rehabilitation”
These are his holy words:
Everyone loved Mordechai, knew that everything is dependent on Mordechai; everyone was in shock — “The city of Shushan was bewildered” (Esther 3:15). What is “bewildered”?
At the moment that they made the decree it [should be] written, “And the city of Shushan was cheerful and glad” (ibid 8:15); they’re going to kill the Jews. After this, when they lost the decree it [should be] written “bewildered”? Now that they’re going to kill the Jews, it’s tremendous joy. [The Rav is asking the question why it’s written in the opposite fashion, since the city of Shushan were very happy to kill the Jews and upset when the decree was cancelled].
They helped the Nazis kills the Jews, to eliminate this people. They said: It’s already impossible to tolerate this. All day, the Jews are praying and learning Torah. They don’t do anything, don’t get drunk.
