We merited that for the first time in two years, our Rebbe Rav Berland shlit”a ascended to the place of the remnants of the Holy Temple, the Western Wall, in honor of the Succot holiday, along with hundreds of students and supporters from Shuvu Banim and all the people of Israel.
At 2:00 am at night, Rav Berland shlit”a left his home and came to the Kotel plaza, greeted with the song “Or Zarua L’Tzaddik.” Upon arriving, he began saying seven Tikkun HaKlalli’s until 3:40 am. After the seventh Tikkun HaKlali, he said Kaddish and left the Kotel accompanied by hundreds of people, with the song “Ura Kevodi…,” arriving at his home at 4:00 in the morning with the song “Or Zarua L’Tzaddik.”
In the Shuvu Banim archives, we checked and found that this is the fifth time this year since the Rav returned to his home that we merited to be with him at the Kotel. It’s noteworthy that the last time the Rav came to the Kotel five times in one year was more than twenty years ago.
