Tikkun Shovavim: Study Choshen Mishpat • The Daily Lesson from Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

Below is a summary of the topics from the daily lesson as delivered by our teacher, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a – yesterday after the Maariv prayer on Tuesday night, the 18th of Tevet, 5786, Parshat Shemot:

1. It is necessary to travel to the Hilula of the Rambam, in Tiberias.
2. Everyone should study Erev Hashem with his wife. From 73 to 78.
3. It is written in Midrash Rabbah Parsha 79 that Yaakov poured libations until the depths, equal to the number of drops in the Sea of Tiberias.
4. Whoever studies in the yeshiva should say Vidui and Al Naharot Bavel, and it is considered as Tikkun Chatzot.
5. One must immerse in the Kinneret. "My heart is hot within me," our Rebbe was in a freezing mikveh and he heated the waters.
6. The Sifri asks why we celebrate Sukkot in Tishrei, as it actually occurred in Nissan. The answer is that one cannot enter the sukkah without all sins being forgiven. Sukkot is in the crown.
7. Shovavim is also in the crown, the tikkun of Shuvu Banim is to study Choshen Mishpat.
