On Friday, 9 Nisan, the distribution of the Kimcha D’Pischa for members of the community from all over Israel took place through the “United Hasidei Breslov Shuvu Banim” organization. Over a thousand families from all over Israel received a food basket worth nearly 1,000 NIS for the Passover holiday. The distribution took place on Rechov Shmuel HaNavi 15 in Jerusalem, with hundreds of Avreichim from Shuvu Banim arriving, and within minutes leaving with full baskets to greet the Passover holiday. In addition, food coupons were also distributed.
At the time of the distribution, our Rebbe Rav Eliezer Berland shlit”a arrived to see the blessed work of the organization, and upon arrival, he marveled at the great mitzvah of chesed which they merited to perform in anticipation of the Passover holiday. The Rav shlit”a blessed the organizers and their supporters.
