THE TERRIFYING WORDS OF RABBI DOVID CHAIM STERN ABOUT THOSE IN THE RELIGIOUS ORTHODOX WORLD WHO TURN OVER RABBI BERLAND TO THE POLICE
As is known, the Israeli Police in their latest persecution against Rabbi Berland, are not working alone. As in the previous persecution against Rabbi Berland, the Israeli Police are working hand-in-hand with people within the Breslov community who’ve been using crule deceitful ways to get Rabbi Berland off the scenes ever since he began, 50 years ago, to bring baalei teshuva to Breslov and people with long hair and tattoos to Uman for Rosh Hashana. And their war has only gotten stronger since.

So it is not the first time that leading Rabbi’s in Israel came out strongly against these so-called “chareidim.” As we’ve seen, already back in 1991 the great kabbalist Rabbi Yehuda
Zerachia Halevi Segal wrote a strong letter to one of Rabbi Berlands main opponents to try get him stop persecuting the Rav. And throughout the years whenever Rabbi Berlands opponents popped up with a new and increased level of persecution the leading Rabbi’s in Israel came out in support of Rabbi Berland. But that seems to be having less and less of an effect on the opponents today who think they are superior to today’s leading Rabbi’s. So, after the major batei din, Jewish courts, in Israel came out with a clear ruling to “immediately cease all hatred and persecution” against Rabbi Berland we were hoping that finally we would hear some quiet. It did help for a short time, but soon the effect wore off and the Breslov zealots were at it again. This time, working meticulously behind the scenes with the Israeli Police and the anti-religious media, to get Rabbi Berland off the scene.
When discovering this, some of the same Rabbi’s who were signed on the original psak, quickly publicized a letter saying that it is forbidden to hand over a Jew to the police and non-religious courts rather all disputes should be brought only to the Bais Din and worked out according to the Torah. As if the laws of mesira were not known to them.
After that didn’t seem to help, other Rabbi’s came out with stricter messages against these mosrim, who are not only working together with the anti-religious police and media but are spreading awful lies and blood libels which have no basis in truth. And if their plan is successful it will change the way religion is practiced in Israel, and instead of the Rabbi’s deciding what is right and wrong, the decision will be given to the non-religious courts and police, who will continue marching in to yeshiva’s and arresting Rabbi’s based on the way they are teaching and blessing, something that was unheard of in the past.
This latest message was publicized by the Mekubal from Bnei Brak, Rabbi Alter Chaim Dovid Stern, who had much stronger words to say than those who preceded him. And this is what he said in a lecture that was given over this past Friday night: “All those who were involved in this lowly mesira of Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit”a will not merit seeing the redemption and will never leave Gehinom forever. I constantly pray that the earth will open its mouth and swallow them like it did with Korach and his followers.”

When Rav Stern was then asked what can be done, he responded: “People should pray at kivrei tzaddikim especially in Meron and Kever Rachel.” Upon the publication of these words, a prayer rally was immediately organized in Kever Rachel for the success of Rabbi Berland.
G-d willing, in the coming days we will bring more words from other tzaddikim who recently spoke in support of Rabbi Berland. But since this information is coming to us in such a fast pace, and we are only a few volunteers please bear with us until we organize, translate and post these stories.
