Today (Monday) 23 Tevet was the 85th birthday of our Rebbe Rav Eliezer Berland shlit”a. Last night, after the Maariv prayer together with the Rav shlit”a, there was dancing for more than an hour and a half, together with a band and musicians.

At the request of the Rav’s Chasidim last Saturday night, the Rav shlit”a wrote a special prayer for his birthday, in which he wrote awesome revelations about his holy soul which came down to the world on this day.
Below is the full prayer:
Ribono Shel Olam — Master of the World, Who can do everything, and that nothing can impede [Your] purpose from You, on 23 Tevet on which the soul of the Rav came down to the world, on a mission from G-d. That he should merit to return the entire world in teshuva — Jews and non-Jews, and as it is written “And the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of Hashem as water covers the seabed,” and all flesh shall call in Your name, to You all the wicked of the earth, all dwellers of the earth shall recognize and know that to You every knee shall bend and every tongue shall swear, and that only You are G-d, because only the G-d of Israel reigns and His kingship is through all the earth.
