Rabbi Berland’s Prayer To Heal The Leg
The following is translated from Rabbi Eliezer Berland’s compendium of prayers in the Refuah Shleimah booklet. To get the prayer in the original Hebrew, you can buy the booklet HERE.
Master of the world, who can do anything and from whom nothing is withheld, please Hashem who is One (1), draw down (365) on me (100) (401) the most pure (103) of the purest (602) lights (613).
And through this fulfil in me the verse, “when will I come and see the face of Hashem?” and through this heal for me my leg (233) through meriting the light (207) of the seven (772) days (60) of creation (913) = 2185.
And may I merit an awakening (1080) from below (801) and heal my leg in the blink of an eye, because You are Him (12) who is my banner (120) and my refuge (172) = 2185.
And may I merit to be attached all the days of my life to the soul of (790) our holy (415) and awesome (268) teacher (268).
And through this, Hashem who is One (1), may I merit to serve You truthfully (443) = 2185 and simply, and fulfil in me, Hashem who is One (1), the verse, “and Hashem (26) my G-d (46) gave me (40) rest (73) from all my surrounding (114) enemies”.
And through this may there burn in me a fire for Hashem day and night, like it’s written, “a fire (301) will always (454) burn (510) on (100) the altar (62) it will not (31) be extinguished (427)” = 2185.
