The Chareidi world received the bitter news about the passing of the wife of the Toldot Aharon Rebbe — Rabbanit Hinda Kohn a”h — after bitter suffering over the course of a year from cancer.
On the night of 28 Adar Alef, Rav Berland shlit”a arrived to console the Rebbe at his home on Shivtey Yisrael St., near the Rav’s home on HaHoma HaShlishit St.
The Rav shlit”a sat and comforted the Rebbe shlit”a over the course of fifteen minutes. Afterwards, the Rav stood up and blessed him “May G-d comfort you amongst the rest of the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem, and may you not be anguished more,” and he departed from the Rebbe with great camaraderie.
