Rav Berland hits Tel Aviv – Dec 3rd, 2017!
The last time Rav Eliezer Berland, shlita, appeared in Tel Aviv was on June 28, 2012 (Tammuz 8, 5772) when the Rav spoke in front of a crowd of more than 8,000 people at Tel Aviv’s Winter Stadium.
That night, more than five years’ ago, the Rav spoke about peace and teshuva and made a plea to end the violence in the Middle East, especially in Syria.
The Rav’s peace and teshuvah rally was widely covered by the media, both in Israel and abroad, and garnered a great deal of attention in both the secular and religious press. The Rav made a huge impression on the thousands of people who came to hear him, but his outreach work was cut short just two and a half weeks later when the first slanderous lies began to be reported in the Israeli media.
Shortly afterwards, Rav Berland began his five long years of exile and imprisonment.
Now, after all the persecution, all the time the Rav was forced to spend behind bars for crimes he never committed, all the serious illnesses and critical operations – Rav Eliezer Berland is returning to Tel Aviv!
The Rav will be speaking at 9pm, Sunday, December 3rd, 2017 at the ‘Ohel Yisrael’ Synagogue located at 159 Ben Yehuda St, Tel Aviv – and both men and women are invited to attend.
