The holy words of our Rebbe Rav Eliezer Berland shlit”a, which were delivered on 16 Shevat 5782.
“So what did Rivka say? Rivka Emeinu said, ‘If so, why am I [Anochi] thus?’ Now, ‘I [Anochi] am Hashem your G-d Who took you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of slaves.’
“[This is] exactly the numeral value of: Avraham, Yitzchak, Yaakov, Moshe, Aharon, Yosef, David; together with the holy mothers: Sarah, Rivka, Rachel, and Leah, comes out exactly ‘I am Hashem your G-d…’ – 2495.
“Rivka said about Esav and Yaakov, ‘If so, why am I/Anochi thus?’ Rivka asked, ‘What will be with “Anochi”? What will be with ‘I am Hashem your G-d’?
“Because now, everyone needs to hear the Ten Commandments. Now, everyone is on Mount Sinai, and everyone hears the Ten Commandments, and everyone is receiving the Torah anew.”
Afterwards the Rav continued:
“Don’t wander around, don’t talk. At 5:30 am, [we’re] beginning prayer at vatikin [with sunrise], [in] another eight hours, or learn until then eight pages of Gemara.
