Shiur in Rav Berland’s Home to Rishon LeTsiyon Residents

  • Shiur for Rishon LeTsiyon residents

  • Short quote from the shiur

  • Coverage from the inner sanctum

Residents of Rishon LeTsiyon and its surrounding areas – students of our Rebbe Rav Eliezer Berland shlit”a and others who are drawing close to the him – merited to enter the inner sanctum on the evening of 2 Iyar for a special shiur by the Rav shlit”a.

In the shiur, the Rav spoke about insights and interpretations of the weekly Torah Portion – Parashat Emor, while strengthening the community in reading Shtaim Mikra v’Echad Targum – the parasha twice in Hebrew and once in the Aramaic translation.  Likewise, he spoke about the mystery of the wood gatherer in Parashat Shelach Lecha and other secrets of the holy Torah, with amazing and beautiful insights.

Likewise, the Rav shlit”a spoke about Chushim ben Dan who merited to cut off Esav’s head.  Presented before you are a number of the Rav’s fiery words taken from the shiur:

“Therefore, specifically Dan is the choicest tribe.  It’s written that [during the time in the desert] he would return all the lost objects.  Because the entire matter of the Tzaddik is to return all lost objects.  The Rebbe says, ‘I can [return] all the lost objects.’  The Rebbe says, ‘I can atone for all the sins in the world.’  The entire fact that there was a Holocaust is because they didn’t know who was the Tzaddik.  If ten people would have said three Tikkun HaKlali’s, there wouldn’t have been a Holocaust at all.  The Tikkun HaKlali atones for all the iniquities in the world, from all incarnations from [the time of] Adam HaRishon.”

After the shiur, which went on for around 25 minutes, the participants went out to the courtyard of the Prayer Hall for the Ma’ariv prayer with fiery passion, along with our Rebbe the Rav shlit”a.
