The completion of the final letters:

At 6:00 pm, the donators of the Torah scroll came together with Rabbi Eliyahu Meirav shlit”a, who merited to draw them close to the great light and to introduce them to our Rebbe Rav Eliezer Berland shlit”a.  They entered the Rav’s house for the writing of the final letters of the Torah by the Rav shlit”a, who wrote the last letter of “in the eyes of all Israel.”  After the writing of the letters, the Rav shlit”a said that now it’s as if we mamash received the Torah anew, and blessed the donators to merit to all good and endless bounty.

Torah scroll procession:

In spite of the heavy rainfall, the procession left on time from the home of the Rav shlit”a on Rechov HaHoma HaShlishit 14, towards our Beit Midrash on Rechov Ido HaNavi, with the procession moving along with masses of people, with singing and dancing.  In spite of the wintery weather conditions and rain, this didn’t prevent hundreds of people from dancing with great simchah in honor of the Torah, with the procession passing through HaHoma HaShlishit, Shivtei Yisrael, Shomrei Emunim, Meah Shearim, until finally reaching our Beit Midrash on Ido HaNavi 14, in the courtyard of the Prayer Hall.  There the dancing continued with even greater strength, the Rav shlit”a entering his home’s balcony to the song “Or Zarua L’Tzaddik.”  Together with the Rav shlit”a, the dancing continued with even greater fervor, the giant crowd seeing the Rav shlit”a jump and dance in honor of the Torah like a young man, everyone filled with holy fervor, dancing and jumping.  Also during the dancing, Rav Eliyahu Meirav shlit”a entered, despite not being about to walk on his feet, and danced with our Rebbe the Rav shlit”a with self-sacrifice and great simcha in honor of the Torah.  After over two hours of dancing in honor of the Torah, with the song “Our Father, our King, open the gates of the heavens to our prayers,” the Torah scroll was brought into the ark.  The Rav shlit”a then began the Maariv prayer, and afterwards gave over a shiur about the parashah.
