Stop the pritzut
Excerpt of a shiur given by Rabbi Eliezer Berland, shlita, on Thursday, the week of Parshat Vayechi, 5781.
The Chazon Ish said that bein hazmanim (referring to periods of time when the yeshivas typically take a break for holidays) is a preparation for zman (literally, ‘time’, but here referring to the time when the yeshivas resume Torah learning).
That the zman is a preparation for the bein hazmanim, that by way of the ‘zman’, during the bein hazmanim we see who is really learning, in truth.
If a person is really learning, then he really learns. It doesn’t matter, if he’s going out to Jerusalem, to Meron, to Uman?

See, the Corona is continuing.
Now there are already 60,000 infected in Ukraine, and already 562 people died in the last days. The Corona is only strengthening in the world – it’s strengthening in the world! People are losing [unclear – hope?]
They should stop with the pagmei brit (defilement of the brit, i.e. immorality), and with the pritzut (brazen immodesty).
So that people should know that the Corona is pritzut. This is what is creating the Corona – that people go without clothing on the street. Even in winter!
It’s already winter clothes now, already, floods of water came down. But people are still going around without clothes!
So, this is bringing the Corona.
And so, there is a germ that is attacking them. They don’t understand this.
They still didn’t find anything against this particular germ.
