Learners of the order of 8 pages of Gemara a day, which our Rebbe Rav Eliezer Berland shlit”a established, merited to complete Shas yesterday after only one year.
In the daily shiur which is given over at the evening Kollel of Kever Rachel Institutions, the students come to persistently learn the eight pages every day after praying Maariv with Rav Berland shlit”a and continue until late into the night.
For the completion of Shas, close to twenty Kollel students entered Rav Berland’s home and completed the Shas together with the Rav shlit”a. The deliverer of the shiur, Rav Nachman Menachem finished the whole Shas with the final page of tractate Niddah, and after “Hadran Alach” (the traditional prayer said at the completion of a tractate), Rav Berland shlit”a said the Kaddish which is said at the completion of a tractate, and blessed them with Mazal Tov for the finishing of the Torah.
