The Daily Ma’amar of our Rebbe Rav Eliezer Berland shlit”a, which he wrote on the morning of Tuesday, Parashat Tazria-Metzora, courtesy of the “Hashem Hu HaElokim” leaflet:
Eliyahu HaNavi merited to the secret of the inner Nefesh Ruach Neshama Chaya Yechida, and through this he merited to ascend to heaven and to descend to earth. “Who ascended to heaven and descended” (Mishlei 30:4) — is said about Eliyahu HaNavi Zachor LeTov = 400 [Zohar II, 197a], for he was pure of eyes = 400, and merited to subdue Efron = 400 who was evil eyed = 400.
And when Eliyahu HaNavi, who is Pinchas, killed with self-sacrifice Zimri and Kozbi, he merited to the addition of the surrounding lights of Chaya and Yechida, which are Nadav — the soul of Chaya, and Avihu — the soul of Yechida.
And through this, he can fulfill what Hashem Yitbarach told him, to go to all the Britot, for at every single brit he receives anew another spark from Nadav and another spark from Avihu, who are the surrounding lights of Chaya and the surrounding lights of Yechida, to know that there is no other besides Him [Hashem], and nothing besides Him, and all the gentiles nations are non-existent before Him, and nothing and emptiness before Him.
