Queen Esther [=661], Adam Kadmon of Adam Kadmon 200 = 861, merited to be in the aspect of Rosh 501 Hashanah 360 = 861, in the aspect of Matityahu = 861, the Kohen Gadol, and therefore merited to the Fiftieth Gate, and to hang Haman on a tree fifty [cubits hight]. Because Haman was completely, from foot to head, consisting of fifty gates of impurity, and he, together with his wife Zeresh, who is opposite Serach bat Asher [=508] [translator note: that Zeresh is the number 507, and Serach 508].
But Serach bat Asher [=1411] is the numerical value of “And it was turned about; the Jews prevailed over their adversaries” plus 11 chieftains of Esav [=1411].
Because Queen Esther, that she is the secret of Adam 45 Kadmon 200 and Adam 51 Kadmon 200 [=496], because there are 496 thousand multitude worlds which praise the Kadosh Baruch Hu from the prayer at sunrise until sunset, and say: “Holy, holy, holy is Hashem, Master of Legions, the whole world is filled with His glory.” And from sunset until sunrise, they say every moment and second: “Blessed be the glory of Hashem from His place.”
Because Esther, who was from Binyamin and from Yehudah, merited to the verse, “May Reuven live and not die.”
“With the crown 286 with which his mother 49 crowned 584 him 36 = 955, they are the angels Nuriel 297, Michael 101, Refael 311, Gavriel 246 = 955.
Because Esther [=661] is the numerical value of and “the One Who infused 351 His holy spirit in their midst 310 = 661” [Yeshaya 63:11].
Because Queen Esther was completely radiant, and therefore said, “Their remembrance shall not perish from their descendants” – that all the holidays [will be] cancelled except for the days of Purim, that the light of the days of Purim will illuminate and radiate more than all the holidays.
Because at the time of the first Tablets, their contamination was terminated – “I said, ‘You are angelic, sons of the Most High are you all’” (Tehilim 82:6), but with the shattering of the Tablets, their contamination returned, and death was renewed in the children of Israel.
But, the days of Purim are two days of revival of the dead, that then Rabbah revived Rabbi Zeira.
