UNIQUE TIKKUN FOR SINGLES: MAY 22,2017 – ‘ANYONE WHO PARTICIPATES WILL FIND THEIR MARRIAGE PARTNER’

Rav Eliezer Berland, shlita, has taken the highly unusual step of promising every Jewish single that they will find their shidduch (marriage partner) if they participate in the upcoming Tikkun for singles to be performed on the holy day of Yesod shebeYesod.[1]

This year, Yesod she be Yesod occurs on Monday, the 26th of Iyar, 5777 (May 22, 2017). The special Tikkun for singles will be undertaken by Rav Ofer Erez, shlita, who will lead a minyan of talmidei chachamim (experts in Torah) and kabbalists.

Every single participating in the Tikkun will also receive a special prayer written especially for them by Rav Eliezer Berland, shlita, to be recited at the time of this very holy et ratzon (time of favor.)

All the names of the singles participating in this highly unusual Tikkun for singles will also be passed straight to Rav Eliezer Berland, shlita, for him to pray on their behalf, and for his blessing. This is how Rav Berland, shlita, explained why he’d called for this rare Tikkun to be performed this year:

The tikkun (rectification) of Yesod shebeYesod for all the singles [is taking place because] the geula (redemption) is being held up because of all the shidduchim that haven’t taken place. Moshiach won’t come until all the [remaining] souls are embodied.[2] There are intifadas and murders, and everything is because of the shidduchim that aren’t happening.”

Rav Berland concluded his remarks by sharing some of the enormous secrets associated with the awesomely holy day of Yesod shebeYesod:

“Therefore, the first thing to do is to arrange shidduchim, and to match-up marriage partners, which is the most important mitzvah that comes before all other mitzvahs. Self-sacrifice (mesirut Nefesh) is required for this, and everyone who helps to arrange a marriage match, it’s considered as though they are building the Beit HaMikdash (holy temple).

“Every single person should give 1000 shekels, in order to sweeten all the judgments and all the impediments, (and so) all the barriers [to finding a marriage partner] should fall away.

Each person will find their wife or husband in the blink of an eye, without any difficulties or impediments, as happened with Rivka and Eliezer the servant of Avraham Avinu, in the merit of the 1000 shekels.

“Hashem is with you.”

[1] Yesod she be Yesod is the 41st day of the Counting of the Omer. Kabbalistically, ‘yesod’ relates to all matters connected with rectifying the Covenant – including finding a marriage partner.

[2] I.e., until all the souls still in Heaven that still need to be rectified spiritually are able to be born into a physical body.
