The holy train to the Rosh Hashana gathering in Uman has already begun to depart, this year earlier than ever.  Masses of Jews from Israel and the rest of the world are making their way to the holy city of Uman.  We bring before you the holy sights of previous years just as this year’s gathering begins.

After three years of hope and countless prayers, the holy tzaddik, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit”a made it to the city of Uman for Rosh Hashana 5778.

Many waited and hoped for the coming of the tzaddik, as can be seen from the moving sights which we present here.  This represented an important step as many connect him directly to the process of Israel’s redemption, especially after Rav Berland shlit”a had noted exactly three years earlier that he would be absent from the holy Rosh Hashana kibbutz in Uman for three years.

So three years later Rav Berland shlit”a broke all boundaries of reason and the impossible and made it to the great kibbutz in the holy city of Uman, Ukraine, in spite of all the difficulties.

With joy and excitement we bring before you this video which documents Rav Berland’s journey to Uman from the Holy Land to his residence in Uman.  Bezras Hashem we’ll continue and bring before you the rest of the holy sights from Rosh Hashana 5778.
