WATCH: THOUSANDS FLOCK TO CELEBRATE RAV BERLAND’S RELEASE
On Motzae Shabbat, 18th Tishrei, 5778 (October 7th, 2017) thousands of people came from every corner of the country to the joint celebration of Rebbe Nachman of Breslov’s hiloula, and the release of Rav Eliezer Berland, shlita.
As we mentioned in a previous post, Shuvu Banim erected the biggest succah ever seen on the road opposite Rav Berland’s home, measuring a staggering 66m x 150m – but big is as the succah was, it still didn’t hold all of the visitors who flocked to share in the joy of this awesome occasion.
Below, you can see a little of the dancing and simcha that took place Motzae Shabbat, in the Shuvu Banim succah in Jerusalem. (2 mins)
The festivities continued all night long, until 5am the following morning, and many of the leading lights of Breslov chassidut came to join in the simcha and dancing. In the second video, you can see the avad d’heichal hora’a, Rav Moshe Bransdorfer, shlita, dancing on stage with Rav Berland, shlita. (3.5 mins)
Rav Berland also gave over many words of Torah, exhorting his followers to ensure that they were enabling Hashem to ‘walk in the world’ by seeing Hashem’s hand behind every single detail and occurrence in their lives.
