The holy Hilulah of our mighty and glorious Gaon, Moreinu Rabbi Natan of Breslov zy”a (may his merit protect us), the faithful talmid of the light of lights, Rebbe Nachman of Breslov zy”a – the holy gathering with Moreinu HaRav Eliezer Berland shlit”a.
179 years since the passing of Rabbi Natan zy”a: The holy yahrzeit which is celebrated in Breslov communities all over the world, every year in its time, 10 Tevet, and in the central Hilulah by the holy community of Breslov Shuvu Banim. The community adds simcha upon simcha, and celebrates every year on 10 Tevet also the miracle of Rav Berland’s release with a festival meal of gratitude.
In the Pavilion events hall in Jerusalem, some 5,000 Hasidim – talmidim and followers — joined together in singing and dancing together with Moreinu HaRav Berland shlit”a.
The Rav shlit”a gave over his holy words in honor of the Hilulah, words of holy fire.
