Prayer and Letter on the Importance of Studying the Daily Page

A prayer that serves as a letter of encouragement from our teacher, the Gaon and Tzaddik, Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a, regarding the study of the Daf Yomi in the Gemara.

From the words of Rav Berland in prayer, "It is an obligation for every child from the age of 13 and up to study the Daf Yomi every single day..., and to know that one page is equivalent to 84 fasts, for every page of Gemara that a person studies is equivalent to 84 fasts."

"For through a page of Gemara, one subdues the kingdom of Greece."
