RABBI BERLAND'S PRAYER TO MERIT TO THE LIGHT OF THE SEVEN DAYS

TO MERIT TO PREPARE VESSELS FOR THE ENDLESS LIGHT AND TO MERIT TO THE LIGHT OF THE SEVEN DAYS AND THIS IS DONE THROUGH LEARNING THE LETTERS OF THE TALMUD

The Haftorah for "Parshas Vayera":

> "And he said go borrow for yourself vessels from outside from all of your neighbors. Empty vessels, do not minimize". 

Master of the world, who can do anything, may I merit to prepare an endless amount of vessels to hold within them the endless light.

> "Empty vessels do not minimize." 

SO THAT IT WILL BE POSSIBLE TO BRING INTO THEM THE LIGHT OF THE SEVEN DAYS, THE LIGHT OF THE MENORAH.

Like it's written, “and G-d said to Abraham (243) go (50) for yourself (50)” = 343, shin mem gimmel 7 x 7 x 7 = 343, the lights of the light of the Menorah.

"And I saw and a Menorah all of gold with a bowl upon the top of it and seven lamps to it and seven pipes to the seven lamps which were on top of it." 

These were vessels that were able to hold within them the endless light and in our days, after the destruction of the Holy Temple, preparing empty vessels for the endless light is made only through learning the letters of the Talmud.

לִזְכּוֹת לְהָכִין כֵּלִים לְאוֹר הַאֵין סוֹף וְלִזְכּוֹת לְאוֹר שִׁבְעַת הַיָּמִים וְזֶה נַעֲשָׂה עַל יְדֵי לִמּוּד אוֹתִיּוֹת הַגְּמָרָא
"הַפְטָרַת פָּרָשַׁת וַיֵּרָא"
"וַיֹּאמֶר לְכִי שַׁאֲלִי לָךְ כֵּלִים מִן הַחוּץ מֵאֵת כָּל שְׁכֵנָיִךְ כֵּלִים רֵקִים אַל תַּמְעִיטִי", רִבּוֹנוֹ שֶׁל עוֹלָם כֹּל יָכוֹל, זַכֵּנִי לְהָכִין אֵין סוֹף כֵּלִים, לְהָכִיל בְּתוֹכָם אֶת אוֹר הַאֵין סוֹף, "כֵּלִים רֵקִים אַל תַּמְעִיטִי", שֶׁיּוּכַל לְהִכָּנֵס בְּתוֹכָם אוֹר שִׁבְעַת הַיָּמִים, אוֹר הַמְּנוֹרָה, כְּמוֹ שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר "וַיֹּאמֶר ה' אֶל אַבְרָהָם 243 לֶךְ 50 לְךָ" 50 = 343 = שמ"ג 7 X 7 X 7 = 343 אוֹרוֹת אוֹר הַמְּנוֹרָה "וָאֶרְאֶה מְנוֹרָה זָהָב כֻּלָּהּ, וְגֻלָּהּ עַל רֹאשָׁהּ, וְשִׁבְעָה נֵרֹתֶיהָ עָלֶיהָ, שִׁבְעָה וְשִׁבְעָה מוּצָקוֹת לַנֵּרוֹת" {זְכַרְיָה ד' ב'}, כֵּלִים שֶׁיּוּכְלוּ לְהָכִיל בְּתוֹכָם אֶת אוֹר הַאֵין סוֹף, וּבְיָמֵינוּ אַחַר חוּרְבַּן בֵּית הַמִּקְדָּשׁ, הֲכָנַת הַכֵּלִים הָרֵקִים לְאוֹר הַאֵין סוֹף, נַעֲשָׂה אַךְ וְרַק עַל יְדֵי לִמּוּד אוֹתִיּוֹת הַגְּמָרָא.
