As was reported here in recent days,  Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a became weak and required medical attention and monitoring, and as a result was hospitalized at the beginning of the week.

On the Breslov Information line (*9148), it was reported that during the afternoon today (Thursday), Moreinu HaRav shlit"a underwent a test under general anesthesia, and with Hashem's help, the test went successfully.

In the meantime, it can be reported that with Hashem's help, the Rav shlit"a is recovering and is expected to return tomorrow to his holy home to spend Shabbat Devarim – Chazon – the eve of Tisha B’Av, with the community.

The Rav’s attendants relate that immediately upon awakening from the anesthesia, Moreinu HaRav shlit"a returned to his learning. We now bring you rare footage from the recovery room in the hospital, showing Moreinu HaRav shlit"a sitting and learning together with his beloved son, Rabbi Nachman Berland, with phenomenal diligence  — as if he were not in recovery at all.
