Rabbi Berland’s Prayer Before Burning Chametz
To merit to sanctify and purify oneself like Rabbenu HaKadosh our holy and awesome Rabbi and to burn up all the bad which is within us and to merit to hear the sound of the great shofar and the rebuilding of the holy city of Jerusalem and the Temple of fire from heaven.
Before burning the Chametz (leavened bread)
Master of the world, who can do anything, may I merit, Hashem Yitbarach, who can do anything, to sanctify and purify myself to the most sanctity and purity, like our holy and awesome Rabbi, Rabbi Nachman the son of Simcha the son of Feige.
And may we merit, Hashem Yitbarach, now at the time of burning the Chametz, to burn up all of the bad which is within us.
And, in the merit of burning the Chametz may I merit to rise up to nukva d’pardashka, the opening on the right side, from which comes the life of all life, and from there the spirit of life of the revival of the dead is drawn down to the whole world.
And may I merit to fulfil the verse, in the merit of burning the Chametz, “eat, drink and rejoice”, the secret of the blowing (980) of the shofar (591) = 1571, the secret of, “that which you swore (822) to our forefathers (505) from the early (144) days (100)” = 1571, the secret of Jerusalem, because (30) Jerusalem (596) is called (751) the city of righteousness (194) = 1571.
Because through burning the Chametz we merit to hear the sound of the great shofar, and through this we merit the rebuilding of the holy city of Jerusalem, and to see the Temple of fire from the heavens and so merit netzach (188) of tiferet (1383) = 1571.

#1410 Avant de brûler le Chametz
De mériter de se sanctifier et de se purifier comme Rabbenu HaKadosh notre saint et impressionnant Rabbi et de brûler tout le mauvais qui est en nous et de mériter d’entendre le son du grand Shofar et la reconstruction de la ville sainte de Jérusalem et le Temple de feu des cieux.
Maître du monde, Qui peut tout faire, puissé-je mériter, Hashem Yitbarach, Qui peut tout faire, de me sanctifier et de me purifier de la plus grande sanctification et purification, comme notre saint et impressionnant Rabbi, Rabbi Nachman ben Simcha ben Feige.
Et puissions-nous mériter, Hashem Yitbarach, maintenant au temps de la Bedikat Chametz, de brûler tout le mauvais qui est à l’intérieur de nous.
Et, par le mérite de la Bedikat Chametz puissé-je mériter de m’élever vers Nukva D’Pardashka, l’ouverture du côté droit, de laquelle vient la vie de toute vie, et de là l’esprit de vie de la résurrection des morts est répandue au monde entier.
Et puissé-je mériter d’accomplir le verset, par le mérite de la Bedikat Chametz, “mange, bois et réjouis-toi”, le secret du souffle (980) du shofar (591) = 1571, le secret de, “ce que Tu as juré (822) à nos patriarches (505) depuis les premiers (144) jours (100)” = 1571, le secret de Jérusalem, car (30) Jérusalem (596) est appelée (751) la ville de justice (194) = 1571.
Car à travers la Bedikat Chametz nous méritons d’entendre le son du grand shofar, et à travers ceci nous méritons la reconstruction de la sainte ville de Jérusalem, et de voir le Temple de feu des Cieux et ainsi mériter Netzach (188) de Tiferet (1383) = 1571.
