Rabbi Berland’s Prayer To Have Personal Divine Supervision
TO MERIT TO FEEL AT EVERY MOMENT THE LOVE OF HASHEM AND TO KNOW THAT I AM BEING PROTECTED AT EVERY MOMENT, WITH EVERY FOOTSTEP.
AND THROUGH TORAH AND PRAYER, MAY WORDS OF EMUNAH BE RENEWED WITHIN ME AT EVERY MOMENT.
Personal Divine Supervision (Hashgacha Pratit)
Master of the World, who can do anything, may I merit to feel at every moment and second the love of Hashem.
And fulfill in me the verse, from Parashat Ekev, “and He will love you and He will bless you and He will multiply you and the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your land will be blessed, your grain, your wine and your olive, the offspring of your cattle and the herd of your flock on the land that He swore to your forefathers to give you.”
Please Hashem, may I merit to feel the love of Hashem in all my 248 limbs and 365 sinews, and may I be joined day (96) and night (81) = 177 with the love of Hashem.
And through this may I enter with my body into Gan (53) Eden (124) = 177. And may I know always that there is someone who shelters me every moment and second, and guards my footsteps, in the aspect of “a man under his vine and a man under his fig tree” which comes only through learning Torah which is called ‘his vine’, wine that gladdens which includes the 70 faces of Torah, and ‘his fig tree’ which is the prayers which shelter us always, day (96) and night (81) = 177.
And through this, new figs will emerge every second, new words of prayer and hitbodedut. And may we merit to leave our evil inclination through ‘vine and fig’ which is learning Torah and prayer and hitbodedut and through this enter with our bodies into Gan (53) Eden (124) = 177.
