Rabbi Berland’s Prayer To Stand Up In Tests

STANDING UP IN TESTS
Master of the world, may I merit to be strengthened in every situation, even the most difficult.
And may I know that the land of Israel is, “a land flowing with milk and honey”, “there is no lacking in it”, “a land of wheat, barley, grapes, dates and pomegranate, a land of olive oil and honey”, “who’s stones are like iron and who’s mountains are hewn from copper”.
And may I not fall from anything in the world.
And through this, may I merit the light of the Tzaddik, the hidden light, the light of the seven days [of creation], the light of Rabbi Akiva who’s skin was combed with combs of iron [Heb: barzel], the initial letters of Bilha, Rivka, Rachel, Zilpah, Leah.
Because, on account of my standing up in all the tests in every type of situation, may I merit the light of Hashem, the light of the Tzaddik, the light of the seven days [of creation], the light of the Tzaddik that shines from one end of the world to the other.
And may we then merit the blessing of Eliyahu the prophet who is remembered for good = 400, who was pure in his eyes = 400, who merited the blessing of, “the flask (24) of flour (153) will not (31) cease (455) and the jug (584) of oil (395) will not (31) be lacking (268)” = 1941.
And through this may I fufil the saying: Yehudah ben Teima says, “be bold (77) as a leopard (310), light (130) as an eagle (570), run (290) like a deer (122), brave (211) as a lion (231)” = 1941.

וְאָז נִזְכֶּה לְבִרְכַּת אֵלִיָּהוּ הַנָּבִיא זָכוּר לַטּוֹב = 400 שֶׁהָיָה טְהוֹר עֵינַיִם = 400 שֶׁזָּכָה לַבְּרָכָה שֶׁל “כַּד 24 הַקֶּמַח 153 לֹא 31 כָלְתָה 455 וְצַפַּחַת 584 הַשֶּׁמֶן 395 לֹא 31 חָסֵר” 268 = 1941, וְעַל יְדֵי זֶה לְקַיֵּם מַאֲמָר יְהוּדָא בֶּן תֵּימָא אוֹמֵר “הֱוֵי עַז 77 כַּנָּמֵר, 310 קַל 130 כַּנֶּשֶׁר, 570 רָץ 290 כַּצְּבִי, 122 גִּבּוֹר 211 כָּאֲרִי 231 = 1941.

Résister aux tests
Maître du monde, puis-je mériter d’être renforcé dans chaque situation, même la plus difficile.
Et puis-je savoir que la Terre d’Yisrael est, « une Terre où s’écoule le lait et miel », « il n’y a pas de manque en Elle », « une Terre de blé, orge, raisins, dattes et grenade, une Terre d’huile d’olive et miel », « dont les pierres sont comme du fer et dont les montagnes sont taillées par le cuivre ».
Et puis-je ne pas tomber de quoique ce soit dans le monde.
Et à travers ceci, puis-je mériter la lumière du Tzaddik, la lumière cachée, la lumière des sept jours [de la création], la lumière de ‘Akiva dont la peau a été peignée avec des peignes de fer [hébreu : Barzel dont les lettres du mot sont: ‘Beit, Rech, Zaïn, Lamed’], les lettres initiales de Bilha (lettre Beit), Rivka (lettre Rech), Ra’hel (lettre Rech), Zilpah (Lettre Zaïn), Léah (lettre Lamed).
Car, sur le compte de résister dans tous les tests dans chaque type de situation, puis-je mériter la lumière d’Hashem, la lumière du Tzaddik, la lumière des sept jours [de la création], la lumière du Tzaddik qui brille d’un bout à l’autre du monde.
Et puissions-nous mériter la bénédiction d’Eliyahou HaNavi Zakhour Létov = 400, qui était pure dans ses yeux = 400, qui mérita la bénédiction de « le flacon (24) de farine (153) ne (31) cessera pas (455) et la cruche (584) d’huile (395) ne (31) manquera pas (268) » = 1941.
Et par ceci réalise en moi : Yehouda ben Teima dit : « soit audacieux (77) comme un léopard (310), léger (130) comme un aigle (570), agile (290) comme un cerf (122), brave (211) comme un lion (231) » = 1941.
