114 Years Since the Passing of the Ben Ish Chai • A New Prayer from Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a for the Yahrtzeit Day

Today, the 13th of Elul, is the 114th yahrtzeit of the author of the Ben Ish Chai—Rabbeinu Yosef Chaim son of Rabbi Eliyahu—who passed away on the 13th of Elul in the year 5669 (1909), zy"a.

Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a recently wrote a prayer for the day of his yahrtzeit. Here is the prayer for reading and downloading:

Master of the Universe, Almighty, from Whom no plan is withheld—by the merit of the Ben Ish Chai, who was the singular Tzaddik in all generations: may all terror attacks cease; may they stop killing Jews; and may all wars come to an end. And may we complete, by Rosh HaShanah, the entire Shas, Ketzos HaChoshen, Nesivos HaMishpat, and Tokfo Kohen; and all of HaMeir, and all of the Rashba, and all of the Ritva, and all of the Ramban, and Yad Ramah and Beis Meir; and may we complete all 14 volumes of the Rambam, and all four sections of the Shulchan Aruch, and all four Turim—everything word for word, letter for letter—both with broad mastery and with deep analysis, in order and in reverse.
