The past year needs no introductions or lengthy explanations; we all felt that 5780 was a different year, that something new and spiritual arrived in the world. We will not list here the sequence of events and changes that descended upon the world this year; everyone understands that life simply halted from its usual course and embarked on a new path. The tzaddikim, with their spiritual vision, knew to tell that the world is heading in a new direction, no longer the natural perception that was until now.

Rabbi Netanel Ben Yeshaya zt"l - The Kingdom of Edom Ends This Year

Rabbi Netanel Ben Yeshaya, one of the great rabbis of early Yemenite Jewry who lived about 600 years ago, wrote in his book "Maor HaAfela," a commentary on the Torah, hints about the year 5780 that is ending and the year 5781 that is entering, "The fourth kingdom will continue as the number of 'Ya'an' which is 5780" as explained in the secret of the Chashmal, and these are his words:

It is brought in the book 'Maor HaAfela' from our teacher Netanel Ben Yeshaya from the sages of Yemen at the beginning of the sixth millennium (page 383 can be seen in Otzar HaChochma) "And they shall accept their punishment because they despised my judgments," they said that the fourth kingdom will last as the number 'Ya'an' which is 5780. And it is clearly written 700 years ago about the year 5780 that it is the year of the end. And it is learned from the verse (Leviticus 26:43) "The land also shall be left of them, and shall enjoy her sabbaths, while she lieth desolate without them: and they shall accept of their punishment, because, even because they despised my judgments, and because their soul abhorred my statutes." Because 'Ya'an' in large gematria equals 5780. And until the year 'Ya'an' the land shall be left of them. It seems to add that the largest bird in the world called Ya'an, [and some call it ostrich], symbolizes the very long exile. And these birds reach a height of 2.6 meters to hint at the name Havayah which equals 26 that is found with the people of Israel in their exile. And also the bird Ya'an runs on the ground faster than all the birds, to hint that Hashem hastens to redeem us. And it also seems that there is a hint in the verse (Numbers 20:12) "And Hashem said unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them." That is, until the year 'Ya'an' Moses will not merit to enter Eretz Yisrael, but in the year 'Ya'an' we will merit the Mashiach who is Moses who will enter Eretz Yisrael to redeem us. And also 'Ya'an' are the letters of 'Ani' as it is said about the coming of the Mashiach "Ani and riding on a donkey." And Rabbi L. Shitrit shlit"a added that 'Ya'an' means because in gematria Ben David.

Rabbi Shalom Arush shlit"a, head of the Chut Shel Chessed institutions and a public benefactor, made an emotional appeal to all of Israel who are contemplating the holy journey to Uman for Rosh Hashanah. Rabbi Arush used words that, according to him, he has never used before:

"I am telling you with certainty, that Hashem will help us, we will meet after Rosh Hashanah, remember what I am telling you: This Rosh Hashanah is the last one that will be without Mashiach."

"It is very possible that even this Rosh Hashanah the Mashiach will be revealed, those who know me, for more than 40 years I have been giving lessons, how many years have you been listening to me Menachem? 10 years! Have you ever heard me speak about Mashiach?"

"I did not speak, but now these are things that are seen, they cannot be explained, but please do not miss out. Because this year you will receive gifts..., there is, whoever comes to Uman this year..., because of this there are obstacles."

The Chatam Sofer zt"l - 5781 The Year of Mashiach

The great sage, one of the greatest halachic authorities who stood for the people of Israel and famous for his great works known as the Chatam Sofer, wrote about 200 years ago in his words on Parshat Bechukotai, that the year 5780 will be a difficult year, but the year 5781 is like the year "He raises the needy from the ash heap".

Rabbi Yoshiyahu Pinto shlit"a, head of the Shuva Yisrael institutions and head of the rabbinical court of the Jewish community in Morocco, reminded in his words the words of the Chatam Sofer in sharp words, these are his holy words.

"Now it is the month of Elul, what are we and what is our life - Chatam Sofer is frightening, Chatam Sofer is fear. The Chatam Sofer says that this year 5780 will be the year of Satan, and next year 5781 will be the year of Mashiach - the words of the Chatam Sofer."

"Can anyone challenge the Chatam Sofer? Baba Meir would not move from his table the Chatam Sofer - the Chatam Sofer says that the year 5780 will be the year of Satan, and the year 5781 will be the year of Mashiach," Rabbi Pinto repeats his words.

"This is not some rabbi who is a rabbi like this, a rabbi like that, we are talking about the Chatam Sofer. Know that our grandfather Baba Meir was careful to know his grandchildren, his great-grandchildren, and his descendants - Baba Meir would not move from the Chatam Sofer's table."

Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a - 5781 A Day of Salvation for Israel

During the difficult exile period, our teacher, the righteous Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, arrived in South Africa. For a short time, the rabbi disappeared, everyone thought he was in Guatemala, but our teacher Rabbi Berland was in South Africa.

The date was Rosh Chodesh Elul 5775, August 2015, during a lesson he gave to the world, our teacher Rabbi Berland revealed the reason for the suffering he was experiencing.

Moreover, Rabbi Berland revealed what is going to happen in all the coming years until 5781, 2021. These are his holy words.

"5781 A Day of Salvation for Israel. We are now (our teacher Rabbi Berland said then of course) 40 days preparing for Yom Kippur of the year 5776 – preparing for Yom Kippur, a day of salvation for Israel 5781."

"In 5781 Rosh Hashanah will fall on Shabbat, Pesach on Motzei Shabbat, there will be a triple Purim, then will be the redemption, a day of salvation 5781 – then will be the true salvation for the people of Israel."

"This is what Daniel prophesied, evening and morning 2300 years, which will end in 5781, the year of salvation for Israel."

"And now preparing these six years from 5775 to 5781 are the years of redemption in which all of Israel returns in teshuvah. All the greatest sinners return in teshuvah, because there are no free people in Israel, there are no criminals in Israel."

"There are no wicked ones in Israel, it is all stages in redemption, it is all stages in the development of the neshamah (soul) and to receive the parts of the neshamah that the greatest sinner will eventually be the greatest tzaddik."
