On the holy Shabbos of Simchas Torah, accursed terrorists came, slaughtered Jews in Israel, and committed acts beyond what any human being could imagine.

Since then, in each of his holy shiurim, The Rav, Rabbi Berland shlit"a, has begun to proclaim that this year is a year of Geulah.

These are his holy words from the various shiurim:

This is the final war before Moshiach—after this war, Moshiach ben David will come.

Everyone who fights in this war will merit to enter Gan Eden immediately. He is considered a son of the World to Come; all his sins are forgiven. Everyone in this war merits holiness.

Regarding this year, 5784, it is written in “Or LaMeir” (by the author, the righteous rabbi Rabbi Meir Yehudah Shapira zt"l; printed in the year 5673/1913—who wrote on the verse, “And for all the Children of Israel there was light in their dwellings,” it is written in this wording: “It is known that the Geulah from Egypt was an all-encompassing redemption, and it hinted to the future Geulah that will be through David, our righteous Moshiach—when the Hidden Light will be revealed. As is hinted in the parashah: ‘And the earth was chaos and void, and darkness upon the face of the deep’—which hints to the four exiles; ‘and the spirit of God hovered over the face of the waters’—this is the spirit of Moshiach; ‘and God said, Let there be light’—that the light of Moshiach will be revealed. Therefore, in the plague of darkness, they were shown something of the light that will be in the days of David, our righteous Moshiach. Therefore the word “in their dwellings” (במשבתם) has the numerical value of 5784. The word דו״ד (David) is like this: David equals 14; twice 14 is 28; 28 times 28 equals 5784. Also, the phrase מל"ך ישרא"ל קי"ם, together with [the words], equals 5784—as brought in the writings of the Arizal, that then the light of the moon will be like the light of the sun.”) Meaning: this is the year of Geulah; this year Moshiach ben David must arrive.

5784—the year of Geulah—this is written in all the holy sefarim: “He declared to His people the power of His works, to give them the inheritance of nations” (Tehillim 111:6). For in 5784 (784), כֹּחַ (power) times כֹּחַ (power) (28×28=784)—this is the moment of Geulah, when all the kings will come to Eretz Yisrael; all the heads of state will come to Eretz Yisrael.”
