During the series of home visits that Rav Berland shlit"a undertakes almost every night, aimed at strengthening the people of Israel and bringing those far away closer, Rav Berland arrived at a private home in Holon.

Rav Kook shlit"a was staying in the aforementioned house, which belongs to one of his chassidim, and awaited the arrival of Rav Berland. When Rav Berland arrived, Rav Kook greeted him with the words - "A great prince in Israel has arrived - may the days of the king be increased."

Upon entering the room, Rav Berland shook Rav Kook's hand and immediately began to speak words of Torah concerning the topic of redemption. He further added that both he and Rav Kook would bring the redemption together. Throughout the time Rav Berland shlit"a delivered the words of Torah, Rav Kook closed his eyes and bowed his head before Rav Berland (in his well-known and great humility), as if waiting to receive a blessing.

During the delivery of his holy words, Rav Berland mentioned that he had not yet recited the Blessing of the Moon. Rav Kook responded by saying that it could be recited now, and indeed these two holy ones stood and recited the Blessing of the Moon together, while singing 'Lamnatzeach Binginot' together.

Later, the host set a table in honor of the tzaddikim and asked them to partake. The Rav held a cup and drank a little just for the blessing, and during this time Rav Dov Kook shlit"a said, "Know that it is impossible to understand anything from Rav Berland shlit"a's words because they are lofty, but it is obligatory to try and understand." At the end of the meeting, the esteemed tzaddik Rav Berland shlit"a continued to another house on his holy journey, returning to his home in Jerusalem only at five in the morning to pray with the congregation.
