During his round of home visits, which Rav Berland shlit"a carries out almost every night with the goal of strengthening the People of Israel and bringing the distant closer, Rav Berland arrived at a private home in Holon.

Rav Kook shlit"a was staying at the aforementioned house, which belongs to one of his followers, and was waiting for the arrival of Rav Berland. When Rav Berland arrived, Rav Kook greeted him with the words, "A great prince in Israel has arrived - may you add days to the days of the king."

Upon Rav Berland's entry into the room, he shook Rav Kook's hand and immediately began to speak words of Torah regarding the subject of the Geulah. The Rav further added that the two of them, he and Rav Kook, would bring the Geulah together. Throughout the entire time that Rav Berland shlit"a was delivering his words of Torah, Rav Kook closed his eyes and bowed his head before Rav Berland (in his well-known and great humility) as if waiting to receive a blessing.

During the delivery of his holy words, Rav Berland mentioned that he had not yet recited the blessing of the moon (Birkat HaLevana). Rav Kook replied that it was possible to recite it now, and indeed, these two holy men stood and recited the blessing of the moon together while singing 'LaMenatzeach BiNeginot' together.

Subsequently, the host prepared a table in honor of the tzaddikim and asked them to refresh themselves. The Rav held a cup and drank a little just for the sake of the blessing, and at that moment, Rav Dov Kook shlit"a said, "Know that it is impossible to understand anything from the words of Rav Berland shlit"a because they are so lofty, but it is a duty to try and understand." At the end of the meeting, the Tzaddik Rav Berland shlit"a continued to another house on his holy journey, only returning to his home in Jerusalem at five in the morning to pray with the public.
