A Lesson for the Breslov Kollel of Lod at the Home of the Holy Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

On Wednesday night of last week, the night of the 27th of Tishrei, a lesson was held in the home of The Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, for the avreichim of the Breslov Kollel in Lod. Below is a summary from the holy words of The Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, during the lesson:

The Rav shlit"a opened the lesson with the weekly parashah—Bereishis—speaking about Kayin’s killing of Hevel and the hidden secrets within this matter. After that, he spoke about the issue of the day—the “Swords of Iron” war—and mentioned the words of the author of Mayim Adirim: that it is in the merit of a Jewish person’s peyos that all forces of impurity are subdued, as it is written, “And he shall strike the corners of Moav and uproot all the children of Sheis.” As well, The Rav mentioned the story brought in the Gemara about Abba Tachina Chasida, who gave over his life in order to save the life of a Jew—and for his sake, the sun shone. The Rav shlit"a spoke at length in the lesson about the terrible killings that Am Yisrael endured over the past week in the “Swords of Iron” war, and he spoke about the lofty level of the holy and pure ones who were bound, burned, and murdered for the sanctification of His blessed Name.

In the second part of the lesson, the Rav spoke about Chizkiyahu and the war of Sancheriv, and about what is brought that he was a reincarnation of Amram—who needed to bring even the Egyptians back in teshuvah, and then they would have sung at the sea. In the course of his words, he mentioned that if King David had lived one hundred years, he would have subdued all the enemies of Israel and built the Beis HaMikdash. He also spoke about the greatness of accepting ביזיונות (humiliations and disgrace). And he concluded with words from the end of Maseches Gittin, greatly strengthening everyone in matters of kedushah.
