A Person Comes to the World to Be Free

Yesterday, the night of Wednesday, the fourth of Shabbat Shoftim 5778, August 14, 2018, the Gaon and Tzaddik, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, arrived at the wedding of the daughter of Rabbi Shimon Rubinstein, his loyal attendant. The wedding was held at the Hanigina halls in Kiryat Sefer, where Rav Berland officiated the chuppah before a large crowd of family, chassidim, and men of action. After the chuppah, Rav Berland shlit"a remained to gladden the bride and groom with holy dancing. Here are the words spoken by the Gaon and Tzaddik, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a.
"WHEN A PERSON SPEAKS TORAH, HE LEADS ALL THE WORLDS"
"All Shabbat, the Rebbe did not sleep at all; the Rebbe danced all Shabbat. The Rebbe says that when a person speaks Torah, he leads all the worlds, and he acted according to his way, and came to his home while the day was still long. He did everything the opposite of the doctors; the doctor said that it is forbidden to eat this – he specifically ate it, and when the doctor said about something specific to eat it – he specifically did not eat it, because he saw that there was no substance in them. The doctor does not know anything about his life. When a person speaks Torah, he leads all the worlds; from every single letter that he brings out from his mouth, all the letters of the Torah are waiting for him to speak them. This is when a person speaks Torah."
"A PERSON COMES INTO THE WORLD TO BE A FREE MAN"
"For there is a great question: The Rambam rules that a half-slave and half-free man is forbidden to eat the Paschal lamb, while Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai says that a half-slave is indeed permitted to eat it, because every slave who is half-liberated is considered as if he is liberated, whereas according to the Rambam, one must truly liberate him. The entire work of a person is to be a free man; a person comes into the world to be a free man. It is written, 'For they are My servants' (Leviticus 25:55), and they expounded: 'And not servants to servants' (Bava Metzia 10a).
"IF A PERSON DOES NOT FAIL IN THE COVENANT, HE MERITS TO RECEIVE A NEW ATTAINMENT – THE FIFTIETH GATE, 'And Hashem your God will keep for you the covenant' (Deuteronomy 7:12), and the main foundation of the holiness of the body is not considered consecrated property."
