A Prayer for Rebbe Nachman of Breslov’s Birthday, 5783 — The Gaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

With Hashem’s help, for the sake of Shabbos A PRAYER FOR REBBE NACHMAN’S BIRTHDAY — 251 YEARS SINCE HIS BIRTH
Master of the World, Almighty One, from Whom no plan is withheld: as 251 years are completed since the birth of Rebbe Nachman [5532 until 5783], this year is the year for the revelation of Melech HaMoshiach, and for the return of Noach’s dove—about which it is said, “and it did not return to him again”—for it hid itself in the chamber called the Bird’s Nest Sanctuary. And now, at this very moment of the day when our holy and awesome Rebbe Nachman was born—this is the moment of the revelation of Moshiach ben David, and the moment for the dove to come and place upon his head a crown of pure gold, as it is written: “You precede him with blessings of goodness, and You place upon his head a crown of fine gold.” For Moshiach will wear a crown of gold, which the dove of Noach will set upon his head—the dove that comes from Gan Eden, from the Bird’s Nest Sanctuary—and You will place upon his head a crown of fine gold, of pure gold. For only our holy and awesome Rebbe Nachman knows how to unite the “heels of Leah” with the “crown of Rachel,” and to transform Leah’s sandal into Rachel’s crown. And about this it is said, “The chiefs of Moav were seized with trembling” [274]—for through the joining of Leah and Rachel [274], dread and fear will fall upon the inhabitants of Canaan: “The chiefs of Moav were seized with trembling; terror gripped the inhabitants of Peleshes.” And then it is said: “Moav is my washpot; upon Edom I will cast my shoe.” Why not “my spear” or “my lance”—why specifically “my shoe”? Rather, this is the crown of Rachel that was transformed into the shoe of Leah; and this shoe Hashem will cast upon Edom. Then Edom will fall—after Yishmael conquers Jerusalem and attempts to conquer Edom, which is Rome. Then all of Edom, from all corners of the earth, will come to wage war with Yishmael, and they will destroy Yishmael; and then Edom too will be destroyed, as brought in the Zohar, Va’era 32. No trace will remain—neither of Edom nor of Yishmael—and then: “Hashem will be King over the entire earth; on that day Hashem will be One and His Name One.” For only Rebbe Nachman can drive away all the apikorsim of every kind, as Rebbe Nachman prophesied about this in 5570—that a great wave of apikorsus is going to be in the world, and no one will be able to contend with it except one who holds tightly to Rebbe Nachman. For everyone will be drawn into the abyss, and there will be no one to stand up for them—only those who are close to Rebbe Nachman. And in them the verse will be fulfilled [II Kings 19]: “And I will leave 7,000”—thousands who did not bow to the Baal [as brought in Chesed L’Avraham, Ma’ayan Shelishi, Ein HaAretz, Nahar 22, column 27].
