A Prayer from our Teacher, the Gaon and Tzaddik, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, for the Hilula of the Holy Or HaChaim

Master of the World, Omnipotent One, from Whom no plan is withheld. In the merit of the holy and awesome Or HaChaim, whose light shone from one end of the world to the other. He merited the secret of the Primordial Wisdom of the Keter (Crown), the "Treasure of Kings" (Segulat Melachim). For all the kings in the world draw their entire power and might from the secret of the "Treasure of Kings," which the holy and awesome Or HaChaim merited. Once, he wandered in the deserts, and then he merited the secret of the "Treasure of Kings," which conquers all the klipot (forces of impurity). Consequently, all the kingdoms in the world that receive from the secret of the "Treasure of Kings" are annihilated on their own from the abundance of light. For the holy Or HaChaim attained the secret of [the cantillation marks] "Zarka, Makaf, Holech, Shofar, Segolta," meriting the Sefirah of the secret of the "Treasure of Kings," and the secret of the Chamber called "Treasure of Kings." For the holy Or HaChaim merited the secret of the Sling, the secret of the stone within the sling, which is filled with the light of the Ein Sof (Infinite).

For in the merit of the holy Or HaChaim, who was surrounded by fire day and night, You revealed to him all the secrets of the Leviathan, as it is said: "On that day, Hashem will punish with His harsh, great, and strong sword the Leviathan the bar serpent, and the Leviathan the twisting serpent, and He will slay the dragon that is in the sea." For the greatest wonder is the soul of the holy Or HaChaim, who possessed the soul of King David, peace be upon him. As the Baal Shem Tov said, the soul of King David, peace be upon him, was impregnated within the holy and awesome Or HaChaim. And at every single moment, may we see the soul of the holy and awesome Or HaChaim, which is the soul of King David, peace be upon him, which was meant to bring the Geulah (Redemption). For the holy Or HaChaim rectified all the 288 Sparks, which are four times the Name Av (72). For the Or HaChaim rectified four times the Name Av: Av of Asiyah (Action), Av of Yetzirah (Formation), Av of Beriah (Creation), and Av of Atzilut (Emanation). For Rivka (Rebecca) only rectified three times Av, corresponding to Asiyah, Yetzirah, and Beriah, which is nine times 24, the gematria (numerical value) of Aryeh (Lion), for Rivka was the Lion in the [Divine] Chariot. But the holy Or HaChaim rectified all four times Av, and through this, he rectified the Av of Atzilut, upon which the entire Geulah depends.
