A Prayer to Merit Absolute Guarding of the Eyes, to Hear the Ten Commandments, and to Subdue All the Wicked and Those Who Rise Up
"I am Hashem your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage."
Master of the Universe, Almighty, grant me the merit to no longer look at any foreign woman, nor any foreign girl, until the end of my life. May I merit never to see any foreign woman—neither I, nor my offspring, nor my offspring's offspring, until the end of all generations. For upon every foreign woman rest 18 trillion angels of destruction, who kill another Jew, and another Jew, at every moment and second. By this power, may I merit to hear the Ten Commandments at every moment and second, and specifically the first commandment: "I am Hashem your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage" = 2495. In the merit of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Aaron, Joseph, David, Sarah, Rebecca, Rachel, and Leah = 2495. And in the merit of the ancient brook = 200, the brook of Kishon, which drowned Sisera and his army, may I merit to subdue all the wicked and all who rise up against me. As it is stated: Hashem is One, Hashem the Merciful, "But I acted for the sake of My Name, that it should not be profaned in the eyes of the nations among whom they were, before whose eyes I made Myself known to them to bring them out of the land of Egypt." "To place [830] you [427] upon [31] the necks of [307] the slain of [78] the wicked [625]" = 2298. And in this merit, Merciful and Gracious Father [3], may we merit to eat from the feast of the Leviathan [496] in the future to come. And in this merit, "Creator of cures, awesome in praises" [2000] = 2496, may we merit to be healed from all illnesses, specifically.........
