To all our brothers, the Children of Israel, wherever they may be!
"But as for me, may my prayer to You, Hashem, be at an opportune time; answer me with the truth of Your salvation"!
We have come here to bring merit to the entirety of Israel in the greatest of all spiritual works, about which it is said, "When the lowest of men are exalted" (referring to prayer, which stands at the heights of the world but people treat lightly). This alone is what acts and saves the Jewish people—which is the prayer of the humble. This is like the prayers of Mordechai and Esther, who prayed with a truly broken heart and saved the Jewish people through their prayer.
And now, generous-hearted people have volunteered to pray every single day for a full hour for the entirety of Israel, to nullify the terrible murders and horrific bloodshed taking place every single day in all the cities and settlements of Israel, while no one opens their mouth or makes a sound, and no one protests or demands justice. As the Gemara in Sotah says, before the days of Mashiach, we have no one to rely on except our Father in Heaven. Only He will save us and bring us the Geulah (Redemption) from this terrible situation we have fallen into due to our many sins, so that we may merit teshuvah (repentance) out of love, and He will transform our iniquities into merits.
Therefore, generous-hearted individuals from our holy yeshiva have volunteered to bring merit to the masses. They dedicate time every single day to pour out their hearts before the Creator of the world, pleading that He have pity on His nation and the flock of His pasture. They go out among the mountains and hills, fields and forests, to cry out and roar from the groaning of their hearts, just like Queen Esther who roared, "My God, my God, why have You forsaken me?", fulfilling the verse, "I roared from the groaning of my heart."
The cost of transportation to these places of prayer reaches tens of thousands of dollars every single month. Therefore, we have come here to ask for compassion from everyone. Let each person open the closed doors of their heart and extend their hand to raise a donation to Hashem for this mission. May you be blessed with all the blessings from Heaven, and may you merit to see the coming of Yinon (Mashiach).
With the blessing of the Torah, Eliezer Berland
