A Prayer to Merit the Revelation of the Cleft of the Rock

The secret of the New Year for Trees (Tu B'Shvat) is that "man is a tree of the field." A person is judged anew for all his deeds, in the secret of "the cleft of the rock" (Nikrat HaTzur), where only Moshe and Eliyahu entered. In order to enter the cleft of the rock, one must completely shed the physical body (hitpashtut haguf). Just as in the story of the beggar with the artificial legs (from Rebbe Nachman's tale), when they emerged from the cave, he nullified his entire physical being. His body was transformed from that of a man with artificial legs into a body of pure radiance, shining brighter than the sun. All of this is in the merit of realizing "vanity of vanities." As Kohelet said, "Vanity of vanities, all is vanity." For on the Fifteenth of Shvat (Tu B'Shvat), we ascend to the spiritual level of Adam Kadmon (the highest spiritual realm). There, the light of the flaming heart of a Jew reaches the Infinite (Ein Sof) and is beyond all comprehension. Because there is no end and no limit to the fiery yearning of a Jewish heart. This is the secret of "And Hashem appeared to Moshe in a flame of fire." On the Fifteenth of Shvat, Eliyahu HaNavi began his march to Mount Sinai, walking for forty days and forty nights without eating, drinking, or sleeping. This was made possible through the light of Eliyahu HaNavi's fiery heart yearning for Hashem, reaching the Infinite and beyond all comprehension, with no end to the flame of his heart. This is the secret of the "flame of fire" that enveloped Eliyahu HaNavi for forty days and forty nights, until he merited to enter the cleft of the rock. If even a hole the size of a needle's point were to be pierced there, the entire world would burn up. The whole world would be unable to withstand the Infinite light bursting forth from that cleft. For the Hidden Light (Ohr HaGanuz) is concealed there, and only the Seven Shepherds merited this light. This is especially true of Yosef HaTzaddik, after he danced 24 hours a day for 22 years, from the age of 17 until 39. He danced ceaselessly, around the clock. Because on the Fifteenth of Shvat, the greatest possible spiritual unification (Yichud) takes place. At that time, we merit the attainment of "face to face" (Panim b'Panim - direct Divine revelation). Then the true "Nesirah" (the Kabbalistic process of spiritual maturation and independence) occurs, which is what will bring about the complete Geulah (Redemption) and the revelation of Mashiach ben David. This will lead to the building of the Third Temple out of fire, speedily in our days, in the blink of an eye. Amen, Netzach, Selah, Va'ed.

To Merit the Revelation of the Cleft of the Rock, to Attain the Shedding of the Physical Body, to Know that "All is Vanity of Vanities" as Kohelet Said, to Merit Seeing Hashem Face to Face, and for the Complete Geulah in the Blink of an Eye
