A Prayer to Say Every Day
Grant me the merit, my Father, to attain eternal holiness,to be completely absorbed within Your awesome and hidden Name.May my intention in every single movement be solely to do Your will, and in every passing second, may I align myself with Your hidden and concealed will.May all my thoughts be exclusively and constantly attached to You,and may the holy Name of Havayah (Hashem) never depart from before my eyes.Let me see nothing in this world besides You,perceiving only the Godliness within every single thing. Please, guard my eyes and my thoughts, that they remain attached only to You at every single hour.Grant me the merit to be bound to the holy and pure Matriarchs—Sarah, Rivkah, Rachel, and Leah, and all the other prophetesses and righteous women, whose images are engraved upon the Throne of Glory.Through their immense holiness, they merited to draw down precious souls—the souls of the Holy Tribes, the souls of the Patriarchs, and the souls of the tzaddikim of all generations. My God, grant me the merit to attain an awesome holiness,so that I may return to the Source from which I was hewn, swiftly and soon.May I merit to be integrated into my spiritual root in the hidden supernal heights, and return to the very source of my soul, which was emanated from the heavenly treasuries. Please, my God, hear the prayer of Your maidservant, and may I merit to be worthy of being an anointed princess,as befits a daughter of God whose soul was hewn directly from You—from the very Ein Sof (the Infinite) itself, only to have fallen into the abyss of forgetfulness.Distance from me the "maidservant" (the base, impure desires),which has entangled itself within my soul—the soul that is truly a princess within.Remove from me the "slave-woman" (the forces of spiritual impurity),so that from now and for all eternity, I will resemble the holy Mothers of our nation.Sanctify me, my God, with every kind of holiness, for it is only You that I have desired so deeply.I have yearned only for You from the day I gained awareness, because my soul is hewn directly from You.Bring me back to You, my God, and be a protective wall for me.Set me before You, and have mercy upon the one who has not yet received mercy.
