A Sacred Call to Participate in the Protest Sukkah in Tzalmon on the Yahrzeit of
Our Holy Rebbe

The festival of Sukkot approaches us with joy, despite everything we are going through all around. The entire nation of Israel is in lockdown, and our teacher, the holy Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a, is still behind bars without any trial. Nevertheless, we are commanded, "And you shall rejoice in your festival, you, your son, your daughter, your manservant, your maidservant, the Levite, the stranger, the orphan, and the widow who are within your gates" (Deuteronomy 16:14). As our teacher Rav Berland said, it requires self-sacrifice to always be in joy.
R' Aharon Schwartz in a holy call before the festival of Sukkot becomes holy upon us - to arrive at the protest in the Sukkah at Tzalmon, these are his words.
"I am here in Tiberias at the police station, working to obtain arrival permits for the planned protest in the Sukkah at Tzalmon."
"The protest will take place on Tuesday, 18 Tishrei, 6.10.20; everyone knows that this is the Hillula of our Rebbe."
"We are organizing a large Sukkah from eight in the morning until eight in the evening; everyone will be able to come here and receive a meal in honor of the Hillula. To hold a festive meal, to recite the Tikkun HaKlali, and of course to participate in the protest vigil in the Sukkah."
"The event naturally includes 'greeting one's teacher on the festival' ('Rabbi Yitzchak said that a person is obligated to greet his teacher on the festival' - Babylonian Talmud, Rosh Hashanah 15)."
Let no one be absent.
