A Shiur for the Editorial Team of Mif’al HaTorah at the Home of the Holy Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

The Activities of the Mif’al HaTorah Organization ○ A Summary from the Shiur for the Editorial Team
The Mif’al HaTorah organization in Shuvu Banim—true to its name—works to increase Torah learning in our holy community. It begins with tests on Daf Yomi and extends all the way to in-depth study of halachah. Alongside the reward in Olam HaBa, there is also “its reward in this world,” with a respectable stipend.
Behind the scenes of the Mif’al HaTorah organization are several avreichim and bochurim who took it upon themselves, with complete volunteer dedication, to arrange funding for all those stipends, to collect the tests, to have them checked by Torah scholars, and to distribute the stipends on time—along with much additional activity, all in order to increase Torah throughout Am Yisrael.
As an expression of appreciation for the members of the team, they entered “into the inner sanctum” yesterday at midday, Tuesday, 4 Teves, for a special strengthening shiur from The Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a.
At the beginning of the shiur, The Rav shlit"a spoke about the importance of learning Gemara and about making the most of the time each bochur and avreich has—going into fine detail on this matter. After that, The Rav shlit"a spoke about Chanukah, and about the daughter of Yiftach—that she did not actually die, as brought in the Abudraham. He then moved on to various aggados found in several places in Shas, explaining them with clarity and understanding, describing the stories with sweetness and vividness, and drawing out practical guidance for everyday life. After close to an hour, The Rav shlit"a concluded the shiur with Kaddish and blessed all the members of the Mif’al HaTorah team that they should merit to increase Torah among Am Yisrael—amen!
