A Story of a Medical Miracle: When the Rav's Kidney Started Functioning Again / A Story of Loving Hashem

An amazing story about a gathering of spiritual awakening where the masses were informed of a deterioration in the condition of the Rav, but immediately afterward received the joyful news of a miraculous improvement.
A story of a medical miracle: When the Rav's kidney started functioning again
One Jew recounts moments of anxiety and fear that transformed into immense joy. This event was truly a wonder of wonders. Just a few hours before the start of the gathering of spiritual awakening, difficult news arrived from the doctors.
They reported that the medical condition of Rabbi Berland shlit"a was very poor, Hashem protect us.
A Broken Heart at the Gathering
One can only imagine the broken heart experienced by each and every participant at the gathering in those moments. The entire crowd was immersed in deep worry, yet no one despaired.
The masses began to cry out and pray to Hashem. The prayers, cries, and abundant tears burst forth from all sides, as the crowd begged for a complete healing for the tzaddik.
The Joyful News and the Blessing of Thanksgiving
Immediately afterward, a miracle occurred before everyone's eyes. The Breslov information line suddenly announced especially good and joyful news.
They announced that the kidney of the Rav shlit"a had started functioning again, thank God. By the grace of Hashem, his medical condition began to improve in a miraculous and rapid manner.
In light of the revealed miracle and immediate salvation, a call went out to the entire public: "Everyone should now recite Nishmas Kol Chai (the prayer of thanksgiving)." Thus, a moment of great brokenness transformed into a tremendous song of thanksgiving to the Creator of the world.
A Story of Loving Hashem: Why Does Hashem Orchestrate Difficult Situations?
It is known that Hashem desires the prayers of tzaddikim. Hashem loves us with a fierce love, as it is written in Shir HaShirim (Song of Songs): "O my dove, in the crannies of the rock, in the hidden places of the cliff, let Me see your face, let Me hear your voice; for your voice is sweet, and your face is comely." This verse illustrates just how much the Creator of the world longs to hear our voices turning to Him at all times.
The Secret of Difficult Situations
We see tangibly how this entire difficult situation we are experiencing is guided and orchestrated directly by Hashem. The profound reason for this is that Hashem desires, longs, and yearns for the voices of His people, Israel. This is, in fact, His greatest delight, and it was solely for the sake of this connection that He created His world from the very beginning.
Continuing to Cry Out Until the Salvation
Therefore, the clear conclusion is that we must strengthen ourselves with even greater intensity. We must not pause our spiritual work for a single moment, even when the road seems long. We must continue to thank, praise, and cry out to Hashem from the depths of our hearts.
Be strong and let us be strengthened, Am Yisrael (Nation of Israel)! We must not slacken, God forbid, but rather continue to cling to the Creator with burning faith. We will continue to cry out and hope, until we merit to see the complete salvation soon, Amen and Amen.
A Story of Divine Providence: The Exact Dates in the Life of Rabbi Berland shlit"a
One of the wonders of the tzaddik is the precise Divine Providence that accompanies his every step. When observing the various events unfolding around Rabbi Berland shlit"a, one sees tangibly how everything is directed from Above. Every event occurs at its exact proper time, on dates carrying immense spiritual and historical significance.
Dates of Geulah (Redemption) and Salvation
This can be seen clearly in several significant milestones. When the tzaddik returned to the Holy Land, it occurred exactly on the 13th of Tammuz. This day is known as the day of release from prison of the holy tzaddik, the Rayatz (Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Schneersohn) of Lubavitch, may his merit protect us and all of Israel, Amen. The parallel between the release of the Rayatz and the return of the Rav shlit"a is not coincidental at all, and it testifies to supernal secrets.
Likewise, when the Rav was released from his imprisonment two years ago, it took place on the 10th of Nissan. This is the historical date when the Children of Israel crossed the Jordan River upon entering the Promised Land.
Additionally, when the Rav arrived at his home in the holy city of Jerusalem, may it be built and established speedily in our days, Amen, it happened twice on the exact same date. Once in the year 5777 (2017), and again this year when he returned from the hospital. Both events occurred on the 28th of Iyar, the day when the Sefiras HaOmer (Counting of the Omer) is "Chesed sheb'Malchus" (Loving-kindness within Kingship).
Second Letters and the Miracle of Purim
This Divine Providence continues to accompany the holy community in these days as well. This week, thank Hashem, a historic letter of halachic ruling from the Torah leaders of Israel shlit"a was published everywhere. In this letter, they clearly warn to stop the persecution and hatred against Morinu HaRav (our teacher, the Rav) shlit"a. The publication of the letter constitutes a great salvation for the entire public, and it is in the aspect of the "second letters" of the days of Purim, which bring light and joy.
Hashem, may He be blessed, heard the cry of the poor who sigh and groan, after the strength to endure had already failed from the intensity of the dispute. This is truly a modern-day miracle of Purim, about which it is said in the Megillah of Esther: "And Mordechai went out from the presence of the king in royal apparel."
May it be the will of Hashem, may He be blessed, to return us all in complete teshuvah (repentance). May we merit to see the revelation of the tzaddik, who is the glory, the beauty, and the grace of the entire world, and may His blessed Name be magnified and sanctified before the eyes of all living things, Amen.
