All Salvation Comes Through Lifting the Heels — Parshas Eikev

The lesson of our teacher, Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a, as delivered in our Beit Midrash at the 'Melaveh Malkah' meal - before the singing of 'Eliyahu HaNavi', in the holy book Chayei Moharan as is the custom of Anash Breslov:

"Now we are studying in Chayei Moharan that every Torah of our Rebbe is entirely through miracles; the Rebbe draws down all the healings in the world with his Torah."

"The Rebbe said Torah 169 'And it shall come to pass, because (Eikev)'; that one must hear down to the heels, to hear [the joy] down to the heels. That through dancing - through the dances, one hears down to the heels. That one is obligated to bounce the heels. Now we sweeten all the judgments, all the healings. Everything that a person wants, to be blessed with children, shidduchim, everything is through bouncing the heels. All the judgments are in the heels, and therefore one must bounce the heels day and night. As much as possible without stopping for even one second! And then all the barren women will be blessed with children, and everyone will have male children, ten male children. And this Rosh Hashanah, everyone in Uman, everyone!"
