"All the Tzaddikim are in Uman"
The Lesson of the Esteemed Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

A lesson delivered by our teacher, the Gaon and Tzaddik, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, at the Seudah Shlishit on Motzaei Shabbat Kodesh Re'eh
Rebbe Baruch said that he had not seen the Baal Shem Tov for many years at his gravesite in Medzhybizh; he could no longer find him. Feige traveled to the grave and said to him, "Der eiz da" (He is here).
However, Rebbe Baruch did not merit speaking with the Baal Shem Tov, so he asked the Baal Shem Tov, "Where are you?"
The Baal Shem Tov answered: "I am only found by Rebbe Nachman." The Baal Shem Tov is now at the gravesite of Rebbe Nachman; that is where he stands. People travel to our Rebbe, and that is where the Baal Shem Tov is found.
Those who travel to the Baal Shem Tov—he is found by the Rebbe. He is not in Medzhybizh at all; he is in Uman.
Everyone has moved to Uman. All the tzaddikim have moved to Uman to enjoy the Rebbe. All the souls have moved to Uman, and even the Patriarchs—everyone has moved to Uman. Everyone, King David—everyone has moved to Uman.
In Uman, the Rebbe saw a wedding, for every name hints at something, since all the names that everyone has hint at the supernal sefirot; it is not for nothing that a person has a specific name.
And a person must walk according to his name. When he stands before the Heavenly Court, they will ask him: "Do you know what your name is? Did you walk according to your name? Did you strengthen yourself?"
For Moshe gave the name Eliezer after Gershom; it should have been the reverse. Because Eliezer came first, as Hashem helped Moshe when He saved him from the sword of Pharaoh, for he had ascended the gallows, and only afterwards did he flee from Egypt. Therefore, the second son should have been called Gershom, because he was a stranger (ger) in a foreign land.
However, until Moshe redeemed the people of Israel, he did not consider his own personal redemption. Therefore, he called his son Gershom, and he only called the other Eliezer after he had brought Israel out of Egypt.
Therefore, everyone is obligated to walk according to the name they have, so there is no need to sleep at all; tonight, we do not sleep anymore.
