"And as they afflicted them, so they multiplied and so they spread"
The Mass Gathering in Be'er Sheva with the Esteemed Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a
"And as they afflicted him, so he multiplied and so he spread." The desire of the Gaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a throughout his entire life has been only to bring pleasure to the Father in Heaven. And the Rav shlit"a knows and has known that there is nothing that brings more pleasure to Hashem than bringing His children closer to the bosom of Judaism. All his life, Rav Berland has dedicated his life with self-sacrifice for this cause, while accepting upon himself endless humiliations and sufferings for the sake of the people of Israel. However, the forces of impurity cannot tolerate that one more Jew is truly drawing closer to his root, and in every generation, they stir up disputes against the true tzaddik.
The Gaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a has already passed the age of 80 and still strives every day to give classes throughout the entire country, but the Sitra Achra (the Other Side) intervenes and stirs up light-minded people to persecute the righteous Rav. However, thank Hashem, each time the verse is fulfilled anew, "And as they afflicted him, so he multiplied and so he spread." And thus, after they did everything possible to cancel the historic Torah class that was planned at the gathering in Be'er Sheva, people saw the cruel persecution by wicked individuals on one hand, and the self-sacrifice and holiness of the true tzaddik on the other, and they donated a large hall for the gathering.
This created a reality in which more people will be able to attend the planned mass gathering, and furthermore, the entrance cost was significantly reduced from 100 to only 30 shekels.
