"And There We Will Ascend and Appear" • The Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a Fulfilling the Mitzvah of Aliyah L'Regel (Pilgrimage) During the Festival of Matzos

This morning, Sunday, the 6th day of Chol HaMoed (the intermediate days of the festival), the eve of the seventh day of Pesach (Passover), the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a arrived at the Western Wall plaza to fulfill the mitzvah of Aliyah L'Regel (pilgrimage), together with thousands of his students, Chassidim, and supporters.
The Rav shlit"a arrived around 3:00 AM and recited seven Tikkun HaKlali (The General Rectification prayers) at the site with great vitality and like a flaming fire. The Rav shlit"a was seen several times kissing the remnant of our Holy Temple with longing, [asking] when "we will ascend and prostrate ourselves before You." After finishing the Tikkun HaKlali, he departed the Western Wall plaza with singing and dancing, accompanied by thousands of students. Following past events where thousands of Chassidim, longing to draw close to the Tzaddik, created a dangerous situation, the gabbaim (attendants) of The Rav shlit"a brought a special mobility scooter that transported The Rav shlit"a from the Western Wall, accompanied as mentioned by thousands, to his vehicle in the large plaza. The Rav shlit"a returned shortly after 4:00 AM, accompanied by a royal motorcade, to his holy home, where he was greeted by hundreds of his Chassidim with the song "Or Zarua LaTzaddik" (Light is sown for the righteous)!
