Awe-Inspiring Prayers about the War that Rav Berland Wrote Before his Imprisonment

OUR REBBE, RAV ELIEZER BERLAND SHLIT"A, FORESAW IN AWE-INSPIRING PRAYERS THE HARSH PERIOD WHICH THE JEWISH PEOPLE AND THE WORLD ARE FOUND IN. BEFORE HE ACCEPTED ONTO HIMSELF THE DECREE OF IMPRISONMENT, ALONG WITH THE DISGRACE AND SUFFERING THAT WENT WITH IT, THE RAV SHLIT"A WROTE FOUR AWE-INSPIRING PRAYERS. WHEN WE GO BACK AND CONTEMPLATE AND SAY THE PRAYERS, WE SEE THAT THE RAV SHLIT"A FORESAW WITH RUACH HAKODESH (DIVINE INSPIRATION) THE FUTURE THAT WAS WAITING FOR THE WORLD AND THE JEWISH PEOPLE AMONGST THEM.  THE RAV SHLIT"A, WHO FORESAW THE DECREES WHICH STOOD TO ARRIVE NOW WITH FULL-FORCE, WENT INTO PRISON IN ORDER TO PUT OFF AND CANCEL THE EVIL DECREE. The holy prayers deal with the painful issues which visit the world at the moment: 1.  "To be rescued from the jealousy of the nations of the world and [that they should] never trouble us." 2.  The wars which are happening in the world and the way to be rescued from them -- "Rescue and save me from the War of Gog and Magog which is being aroused and coming to the world." 3. The antisemitism which is intensifying in the world and the way to be rescued from it -- "In the merit of them not succeeding, and that we stand up in the test and accept everything with love, in the merit of this, may Mashiach come." 4. An additional prayer of Rav Berland shlit"a, in which is foreseen the war which is happening in the world -- the aliyah to the Land of Israel which is getting stronger in the shadow of events -- "Ribono Shel Olam, All-Powerful, give me the merit to ascend to the Land of Israel with great self-sacrifice. PRESENTED BELOW IS EACH OF THE FOUR PRAYERS IN ENGLISH ALONG WITH THE ORIGINAL HEBREW. TO MERIT TO BE SAVED FROM THE JEALOUSY OF THE NATIONS OF THE WORLD, THAT THEY SHOULD NEVER BOTHER US. AND ALL THOSE WHO ARE HURTING US SHOULD DISAPPEAR FROM THE WORLD AND WE SHOULD ONLY KNOW A HOLY LIFE OF TORAH AND PRAYER  Master of the world, who can do anything, merit me to be saved from the hatred of the nations of the world, from them, from their jealousy and from all their multitudes, and they should never be able to harm us until Mashiach Ben David = 435 comes and redeems us from them and guides us on the true path. And we should be able to learn Torah day (96) and night (81) =177 without stopping for a second, and our minds should never be distracted from the holy Torah for even one moment and all those who are hurting us should disappear from the world. And we should enter into a good life, to a life of blessing, to a life of Torah, to a life of prayer, and we shouldn’t know anything besides for the holy Torah and prayer. לִזְכּוֹת לְהִנָּצֵל מִקִּנְאַת אוּמוֹת הָעוֹלָם וְלֹא יַפְרִיעוּ לָנוּ לְעוֹלָם וְכָל הַמְּצִיקִים לָנוּ יֵעָלְמוּ מִן הָעוֹלָם וְנַכִּיר אַךְ וְרַק בְּחַיֵּי הַתּוֹרָה וְהַתְּפִלָּה הַקְּדוֹשִׁים לְהִנָּצֵל מִקִּנְאַת אוּמוֹת הָעוֹלָם עָלֵינוּ רִבּוֹנוֹ שֶׁל עוֹלָם כֹּל יָכוֹל, זַכֵּנִי לְהִנָּצֵל מִשִּׂנְאַת אוּמוֹת הָעוֹלָם, מֵהֶם, מִקִּנְאָתָם וּמִכֹּל הֲמוֹנָם, וְלֹא יוּכְלוּ לְהָרַע לָנוּ אַף פַּעַם בָּעוֹלָם, עַד שֶׁיָּבֹא מָשִׁיחַ בֶּן דָּוִיד = 435 וְיִגְאָלֵנוּ מֵהֶם, וְיַנְחֶנּוּ בְּדֶרֶךְ אֱמֶת, וְנוּכַל לִלְמוֹד תּוֹרָה יוֹמָם 96 וָלַיְלָה 81 = 177 לְלֹא הֶפְסֵק שֶׁל שְׁנִיָּה, וְלֹא נָסִיחַ דַּעַת מֵהַתּוֹרָה הַקְּדוֹשָׁה אֲפִילוּ לִשְׁנִיָּה אַחַת, וְכָל הַמְּצִיקִים לָנוּ יֵעָלְמוּ מִן הָעוֹלָם, וְאָנוּ נִכָּנֵס לְחַיִּים טוֹבִים, לְחַיִּים שֶׁל בְּרָכָה, לְחַיִּים שֶׁל תּוֹרָה, לְחַיִּים שֶׁל תְּפִילָה, וְלֹא נַכִּיר שׁוּם דָּבָר חוּץ מֵהַתּוֹרָה TO BE SAVED FROM THE WAR OF GOG UMAGOG THROUGH THAT I WILL BE METICULOUS ABOUT THE THREE SHABBOS MEALS AND THREE DAILY PRAYERS WITH SONG AND TREMENDOUS DVEIKUS  Master of the World, who can do everything! Save me and redeem me from the war of Gog Umagog which is quickly coming to the world. And may I merit being among those who fulfill three meals on Shabbos Kodesh with all the songs and melodies sung with tremendous dveikus and intense joy. Through this we will be saved from the war of Gog Umagog. So too, all the three prayers of each and every day, I shall sing and chant with great clarity and tremendous dveikus. And no word or letter shall leave our mouths without awesome kavana (intent), and without tremendous dveikus. No word or letter shall leave our mouths without love and awe, without tremendous dveikus 24 hrs. Everything should be with tremendous dveikus, with tremendous fear and awe, and tremendous joy. Through that we should merit complete repentance out of love, as it says, “And a Redeemer (40) shall come (9) to Zion (186), and to those of Jacob (184) who repent (348) from sin (450), so says (97) Hashem (26)” = 1340. And may I merit having sons from the breed of Tarshish (important stature), and may we raise them with the study of Torah without any difficulty, and may they always wake up at three o’clock in the morning to learn Torah, and to pray word for word with kavana (intent). Through this may the following verse be fulfilled through me, “And I will bring them to My Holy Mountain, and I will make them rejoice in my House (420) of Prayer (920)” = 1340. TO ONLY DO GOOD FOR THEM AND BRING THEM CLOSE TO HASHEM. AND TO MERIT STANDING UP TO ALL THE TESTS THAT STAND BEFORE US THAT THEY WANT TO DESTROY US. MAY WE ACCEPT EVERYTHING WITH LOVE AND MAY WE MERIT THE REVELATION OF MOSHIACH BEN DOVID. TO BE SAVED FROM ANTI SEMITISM Master of the World, who can do everything, and from Whom nothing is withheld. As long as we are in the exile of the nations, save us from anti-Semitism and from hatred of the nations. May we only do good for them, and through this may we bring them close to His blessed service day (96) and night (81) = 177. May they study Torah day (96) and night (81) = 177, and through this may we enter Gan (53) Eden (124) with our bodies, as the Talmud says in Pesachim 87b that a priest asked Rabbi Chanina ‘What do we think about 24 hours [a day]?’, he said ‘All you are thinking about 24 hours is how to wipe out all of the Jews.’ The priest responded, ‘I swear in the name of the Roman army, that that is how we begin our day and that is how we end how day, and that is all we think about and contemplate, that is our hope and aspirations; to rid ourselves of this nation in the blink (305) of an eye (130)’ = 435. TO MERIT COMING TO ERETZ YISRAEL WITHOUT LOOSING ANYTHING. TO SELL EVERYTHING FOR ITS FULL VALUE. AND MAY I MERIT LEAVING THE DEFILEMENT OF THE LAND OF THE NATIONS THAT WE ARE IMMERSED IN. AND MAY WE SMASH ALL OF THE OBSTACLES THAT ARE MOSTLY OBSTACLES OF THE MIND. TO COME TO ERETZ YISRAEL Master of the World, who can do everything. Merit me to go up to Eretz Yisrael with sublime self-sacrifice. That I leave all of the property and all of the belongings that I have outside of Eretz Yisrael. That I not leave anything over, that I not leave any remembrance. Rather I should sell everything as quick as possible at full value, and not lose even one pruta by moving to Eretz Yisrael. And may I not incur any other damages by moving to Eretz Yisrael. For we have no more strength to stay in exile, in chutz la’aretz, even for one second. We want to go up to the land of our forefathers, that you gave to our forefathers, Avraham, Yitzchak and Yaakov, “The land flowing with milk and honey”. For Eretz Yisrael is holier than any other land in the world. “And Hashem Your G-d chose her over all other precious things in the world.”  Please, Hashem, merit me to go up to Eretz Yisrael with self-sacrifice, “And bring us to Your Holy Mountain.” For we have no more strength to stay in chutz la’aretz, but on the other hand we’ve been here for so long, in the defilement of the land of the nations, and we have no idea how to free ourselves from it.
