Prayer for Limud Torah

From "Leket Tefilot - Limud Torah L'fi HaSefarim - #16"

Another phenomenal prayer by Moreinu HaRav Eliezer Berland shlit”a, this one for reaching the highest levels in Torah learning:

Ribbono Shel Olam, Master of the World, open my heart in learning Shas (360), which corresponds to the 360 days of the year, which [in turn] corresponds to the 365 years of Chanoch, and through this, may I merit to an ibur (a soul channeling) from the soul of Chanoch, which is the zihara ila’a (1) of Adam HaRishon, so that I too will merit through learning Shas to zihara ila’a of Adam HaRishon just as Chanoch merited. And may I merit through this to tzelem Elokim (the image of God), and to be included in the image of God. For Rabbeinu said that only one who finished Shas can merit to the image of God, and then I will merit to an ibur from the angel Uriel 248, and therefore “in the image of 162 God 86” = 248, the numerical value of Uriel.

Please Merciful and Gracious One, I know that all forgiveness for my iniquities is dependent on learning Shas. Therefore “with You 130 is forgiveness 118” = 248, for I desire true life, and therefore “desires 178 life 70” = 248.

Please Merciful and Gracious One, let me merit to what Rabbeinu said (in Likutey Moharan, Volume II, Lesson 8:2), that there are three skull cavities of the mind, and one needs to fill them through learning Shas-Gemara-Talmud, to subdue the unclean force of Lilli- through Talmud = 480 and the unclean force of Machalat bat Igrat through mecholot (circular dances) and rekudim (dances).

Please Merciful and Gracious One, Who can do everything, from Whom no plan is withheld, let me merit to abundant mecholot and rekudim, and through abundant mecholot and rekudim (mecholot 490 rekudim 360 = 850), let me merit to sit in the yeshiva day and night, and to not leave the yeshiva even for a moment, and to be like King David, peace be upon him, who said, “Here 85 I will dwell 303, for 30 I have desired it 432” = 850, and to learn Torah without interruption of a second, and to not leave the entrance to the yeshiva at all until I merit to completely master all of Shas, forward and backward, in breadth (bekiut) and depth (iyun), with all the Rishonim and Achronim, Rambam, Tur and Shulchan Aruch, and all their commentaries, and all the Poskim in the world.
