Bizarre - Thousands Already on Their Way to Prayer and Suddenly a Military Order
is Published Banning Rabbi Berland's Entry to Prayer

As we published the holy calls on behalf of the rabbis of the Shuvu Banim community shlit"a to participate in the prayer rally in Hebron, thousands responded to the call and set out on their way. The masses relied on the prior coordination with the Israel Police regarding the holding of the rally, especially after the exemplary behavior of the public in previous rallies.
In a surreal and puzzling manner, while making cynical use of an IDF General's order, the police announced that the masses would not be able to enter to pray at the Cave of the Patriarchs. The crowds of people were already halfway there when police officers stopped the buses and turned them back.
The clear goal was to prevent the prayer rally at the site of the Cave of the Patriarchs, but the General's order from Tamir Yadai, apparently at the request of the Jerusalem Police, did not stop the yearning hearts. The buses on behalf of the Shuvu Banim community that encountered police roadblocks stopped at the Gush Etzion junction, where over a thousand people got off and held a prayer rally at the Gush junction.
A fiery, passionate rally.
