Bringing in the Torah Scroll in Memory of Shimon Heller zt"l – with the Gaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

Let us rejoice and be glad with this Torah – the ceremony of bringing in the Torah scroll to the prayer hall of our teacher, the honorable Gaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, 29 Tevet 5782.
Every ceremony of bringing in a Torah scroll is joyous and moving—how much more so when the Torah scroll was written for the elevation of the neshamah (soul) of the young man Shimon Heller zt"l, from the holy community of Breslov Shuvu Banim.
At the event of writing the letters, Rav Natan Heller, the scribe who wrote the scroll—Shimon zt"l’s father, and one of the important and veteran students of our teacher, the Rav shlit"a—arrived at the home of our teacher, the honorable Gaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a.
Toward 18:00, the Heller family arrived together with Rav Natan Heller n"y for the writing of the letters at the home of our teacher Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a.
Afterward, the procession set out together with the Torah scroll from HaChomah HaShlishit Street, via Shivtei Yisrael Street, toward the prayer hall at 14 Ido HaNavi Street. There, the holy scroll was received with fiery dancing and simcha (joy) with a great crowd, as well as with the Ma’ariv prayer and a se’udat mitzvah in the Beit Midrash hall.
