Brothers Sitting Together in Unity • The Staff of 'Nechamat Zion' Talmud Torah

An Experiential and Enjoyable Bonding Day for the Staff of 'Nechamat Zion' Talmud Torah

The management of the 'Breslov Nechamat Zion' Talmud Torah (elementary school) under 'Shuvu Banim Institutions' do not rest on their laurels, and are constantly racking their brains for additional ideas that will lead the Talmud Torah to continued success b'siyata d'shmaya (with the help of Heaven). The great stature of the teachers of young children is well known, of whom it is said, "and those who lead the many to righteousness [shall shine] like the stars forever and ever," and therefore the management sought ways to express their great appreciation for every melamed (teacher) in the Talmud Torah.

It was moving to see over 50 staff members of the Talmud Torah gathering in a spirit of "brothers sitting together in unity" for a refreshing bonding day. The bonding day took place from the afternoon until the late evening hours, in a moshav (settlement) in the Beit Shemesh area, during which they received new tools for their continued blessed work and heard ideas on how to strengthen themselves in their avodas hakodesh (holy service).

During the dinner, the Mashpia (spiritual mentor), the Rav HaChassid Moshe Weinbach shlit"a (may he live long and good days), who is known for his pleasant speech and his tongue that produces beautiful words, arrived. In an experiential way, he described to the melamdim (teachers) the importance of their role and the magnitude of the responsibility resting on their shoulders. Among other things, he told the staff that "together we will win" is the popular slogan today, and the lesson from this for the melamdim is the importance of working together so that all the children in the class progress toward the goal.
